One of the great strengths of the Model Railway hobby is that it is, or can be, multi-faceted. Many disciplines can be incorporated into the hobby; woodworking, electrical, electronics, model building and various forms of art make up the list of component parts of the pastime. Sometimes activities are best grouped together to form a project rather than leave every task as just part of the general mish-mash. Very often, projects stall because components need to be sourced, research has to be carried out or other matters arise and take priority. In the ‘Projects’ section of this site, I will keep progress reports on all of my ongoing projects, updating them as and when it is appropriate to do so.
